Christopher Bencomo is first-generation American. He is bilingual. Born in Miami, in the suburb of Hialeah, Christopher is the eldest son of Cuban immigrants. Christopher had an affinity for science and majored in Pre-Med. Simultaneously, he starred in multiple theatre productions and local and national commercials. After completing a hospital internship, he realized he needed an artistic outlet that medicine could not provide. He decided to pursue acting, full time.
Christopher attended the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York City. Subsequently, he graduated from the theatre program at the University of Central Florida, where he mastered the ability to slip in and out of dialects and accents. Christopher has worked on multiple broadcast and streaming series as well as feature films. He maintains a residence on both coasts.

Christopher was cast as a recurring guest star in Chuck Lorre’s new, high profile comedy, Bookie, set to debut this fall on Max. Also this fall, Christopher guest starred in Greg Berlanti and Nkechi Okoro’s Found, on NBC, now streaming on Peacock. Additionally, Christopher voiced “Donato” in the video game Thirsty Suitors by Annapurna Interactive, now available, and he recently recorded with Blindlight Studio for an upcoming video game, which is currently undisclosed.
On the feature side, Christopher can be seen in Magic Mike’s Last Dance, in theaters worldwide and streaming. In addition, he can be seen in Alone In The Dark, a Tubi Original film, now streaming. Christopher is also a lead in the new Latinx narrative podcast, Love In Gravity, now streaming on Apple Podcasts and Spotify.
Christopher recently guest starred in The Rookie, directed by Bill Roe, Chicago PD, directed by Eif Rivera, Monster, directed by Paris Barclay and Tales, directed by Patrick Coker. He was also invited as an actor to participate in Netflix’s Original Series Director’s Development Program, run by Paris Barclay. More info coming soon.
